For students who rely on public transport services to get to school, there are a number of different options available.

ASH005 Ellington / Newbiggin Bus Route
Please note that from Monday 16th January, the times of the Ellington / Newbiggin bus route have been amended.
The new times are as follows:
08.03 – Ellington, The Plough Bus Stop
08.05 – Ellington, Former Colliery Bus Stop
08.13 – Newbiggin, Storey Crescent Bus Stop
08.15 – Newbiggin, Sports Centre Bus Stop
08.17 – Newbiggin, Holmcroft Bus Stop
08.19 – Newbiggin, Gibson Street Bus Stop
08.30 – Arrive Duke’s

Changes to public services
Please note that from Sunday 29th August 2021, Arriva made some changes to some of its bus services in South East Northumberland. This may impact pupils in particular who travel to Duke’s from Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. Please check revised timetables prior to travelling: arrivabus.co.uk.
